IDA nominated for LinkedIn learning award

News

Amsterdam, 28 March 2023 – Since 2019 we have been providing free LinkedIn Learning accounts to our employees, allowing them to allocate time during work for their professional development. We are happy to see that these licenses are being used frequently, and even led to being nominated for a LinkedIn Talent Award over the past year. The LinkedIn Talent Awards celebrates teams around the world who are innovating, learning, and developing their skills for the future.

IDA is Learning Champion finalist

We are nominated as a finalist in the category ‘Learning Champion – Public Sector’ by the LinkedIn Data and Insights Team. They analysed the performance, results, and impact of organisations who are using LinkedIn Talents Solutions. This award recognises organisations who are invested in the learning and development of their employees. The criteria for this category are based on activation of learning seats and repeat learning across the business, but also considers the average learning time per user, the percentage of repeat learners, and the average percentage of logins to the platform.

Learning at IDA

As an employer, we aim to create an open learning environment for all our people. We achieve this by stimulating learning on the job. This includes (online) courses and workshops for our employees to build and develop their professional knowledge as well as social skills, helping them to  grow within the organisation.  Besides offering LinkedIn Learning licenses to our staff, we organise social learning courses and ‘Future of…’ sessions where we invite guest speakers to tell us about partnerships, joint ventures, sustainability, among others. Recently, we held a session on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) with a specific focus on gender equality.

LinkedIn Learning platform

LinkedIn Learning is a tool that helps support employee performance and personalise learning opportunities. As IDA believes in a learning culture, and to encourage the use of the tool, employees are free to spend up to and hour a week on LinkedIn Learning during work hours. Every user has access to a wide variety of courses that can be sorted on job title to suit everyone’s personal and professional needs.
