At IDA, we are on a mission to improve access to essential medicines and create a sustainable and healthy future. With offices in the Netherlands, India, our global team represents various backgrounds and nationalities, fostering a vibrant and inclusive work environment.
On this Dutch Diversity Day, we would like to share some of our insights when it comes to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. As we set out our strategic roadmap, IDA prioritised key Sustainable Development Goals that we can make an impact on, including SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). These goals help us with shaping our policies, making sure all our employees feel safe and valued at work.
At IDA Foundation, we believe that everyone in the world has the right to access quality medication and health care. Our international and diverse teams in Amsterdam and Mumbai are working hard toward our long-term goal of Universal Health Coverage, and supporting our mission of Bridging the Gap in Access to Medicines.

With most organisations working from home for over a year now, many of us at IDA will say that we have managed to keep our organisation running quite smoothly. But a big aspect of working life are our colleagues and the office culture. So how are we staying connected to our colleagues and holding on to the IDA team spirit?
