In order to react immediately in emergency situations, IDA offers the Interagency Emergency Health Kit as a priority item. The contents of the kit are determined by World Health Organization (WHO) in cooperation with international and nongovernmental relief agencies and have been adopted by many organisations and national authorities as a reliable, standardised, affordable and quickly available source of essential medicines and medical devices urgently required in disaster situations.
