Development aid malaria works

According to a report released by WHO this month, huge progress has been made in delivering life-saving malaria nets and treatments over the last few years. However in order to meet the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) malaria programs needs to be stepped up drastically. For example more focus is needed on large countries with high malaria burden and on the resistance to anti-malarial medicines. This is a serious threat to the process of achieving global malaria control.
