Taking swift action in Haiti is a priority for IDA this week and over the coming weeks. With Haiti's health system hit hard by its earthquake, quickly delivering and coordinating life-saving care is an immediate priority.

In order to react immediately in emergency situations, IDA offers the Interagency Emergency Health Kit as a priority item.

We are now ready to dispatch an Emergency Health Kit into Haiti, which means treatment for 10.000 people for approximately 3 months. We are currently working on more kits to be dispatched next week and into the coming weeks.
