Our comprehensive quality assurance system covers the entire chain from manufacturing until distribution. A product will only be supplied when it has passed through IDA’s entire quality system and meets all required standards.
During this process, our pharmacists assess the quality of:

• Supplier
• Manufacturing site
• Product

IDA Foundation is certified for Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Distribution Practice and ISO 9001:2000.

Furthermore, large donor organizations have assessed and prequalified us to work with them:
• IDA Foundation has been prequalified by USAID and was granted a USAID source/origin waiver for all products purchased under PEPFAR
• IDA Foundation has been recognized and approved by the European Commission Humanitarian AID Organization (ECHO) as a Humanitarian Procurement Centre (HPC)
