Storage conditions

In both warehouses, the receiving goods area is physically separated from the storage, packing and expedition areas, thus preventing any mixing up. In addition, commodities placed under quarantine (which have to be returned or that are rejected) are held physically and administratively separate from the rest of the stock. The picking and packing area is also separate from the other storage areas. The collecting of goods in the warehouse, and the packing of the goods for transport is executed by different people in order to minimise the risk of errors.

The storage temperature is between 15 °C and 25 °C in all areas. The cold chain areas are kept between 2 °C and 8 °C.
